Future Global Network Champions
For the first time ever in 2008, two ICSB affiliates funded a conference scholarship for both a doctoral student from the United States to attend the ICSB European affiliate (ECSB) RENT conference in the Fall of 2008 and a doctoral student from Europe to attend the U.S. conference in January 2009.
This year, the Wilford L. White Fellows of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) are sponsoring the 2009 ECSB Doctoral Consortium for graduates of the 2009 USASBE Doctoral Consortium. Graduates are eligible to submit a proposal for funding to attend the 2009 ECSB Doctoral consortium. USASBE and ICSB have each set aside $500 USD for a total of $1000USD. This amount should cover the cost of housing and registration. However, you will need to obtain additional funding support in the amount of at least $1500 USD to cover the cost of a plane fare and other expenses.
If you can obtain the funding and wish to attend, please send a one pager expressing your interest in attending and ability to secure the needed funds by September 18th. Additionally, please indicate your Research Interest in the one pager.
